As Christ mandated His followers to be of assistance to people in need, we believe (as Christians) we need to be proactive in taking steps to help our neighbors who are facing some tragic trends that have been rocking (and devastating) our communities and, more importantly, family stability. These disturbing trends include:

· MASS Foreclosures commencing against homeowners resulting in untold cases of household displacement and homelessness (especially in situations where homeowners can no longer afford monthly payments due to adjustable rate mortgages increasing payments);

· The inability for renters (who are DESPERATELY seeking) to find affordable housing and who CANNOT simply because damaged credit has become the ultimate roadblock to progress in this quest;

· Countless EVICTIONS of renters who are denied a continued leasing opportunity of where they live (and who face displacement and/or homelessness) simply because damaged credit denies these people the chance to qualify for home financing.

No doubt, not everyone is perfect. Many of the people who are in these situations are facing dire circumstances due to mortgage fraud, sporadic income, layoffs, health issues, etc. Unfortunately, many of these people have no clear idea of how to get out of these circumstances. And, while many Christian Churches are excellent providers for providing individuals with prayers, emotional counsel and Christian teaching, financial problems are just as important and require attention. Without the guidance of a financial counselor available in the Church, these problems, if left unattended, could spell financial devastation for a family or Church member.

Our Solution: Smart Solutions would like to hear from (or possibly meet) with you, your church leader(s) as well as the Pastor in person and show your church what Smart Solutions can do for an individual person who is pressed to find adequate help. Smart Reps may be available to speak to your congregation at a Sunday service (if possible) and encourage people to contact Smart Solutions either (in person if possible) or via e-mail: sscharf@charterinternet.com (or again - if possible Smart Solutions may be able to arrange to have Smart Reps be present after the services). Any member, who cannot be in attendance, may be referred by Church members or a church bulletin for help to Smart Solutions. The toll-free phone number to ask for help is: 888-605-5181. Literature can be provided to churches to help congregants who are seeking help. There is no charge to have a Smart Rep come and speak to congregation. If a Smart Rep cannot speak to the congregation due to time constraints, it may be possible to have a member of the Church make an announcement at the end of services. As a charitable gift, Smart Solutions would like to reward any Pastor who chooses to have a Smart Rep speak at your services (or arrange to have Smart Solutions provide services to congregants either on a referral basis or via a seminar). A participating Pastor will receive the opportunity to enroll in the Smart Financial (and Credit Repair) Program (at no-charge) in order to receive general financial advise (and credit repair services). Also, a portion of the proceeds collected from a Church function will be used for evangelical or charitable purposes.
